Even though I haven't posted a new episode of Poet RPG since the end of October I'm still getting a steady flow of traffic, mostly from people who are starting online Paranoia games and are using the Bush administration game as an example of play. I'm glad to be of use to the roleplaying community. Paranoia 2nd Ed. was the second game I ever owned, and I've never completely escaped its influence.

I enjoyed writing the fictional game logs for this site. Whenever I see Samuel Bodman on the news, I can't help but smile as I picture him smashing lightbulbs to save electricity. The same goes for the other players in Dick Cheney's PARANOIA game. Poet RPG has also given me the opportunity to write for the new PARANOIA line, as it caught the eye of developer Allen Varney who recruited me for the Traitor Recycling Studio. Because of this site, I was able to go into a gaming store hundreds of miles away from my home and buy a gaming book with my name on the cover - Service, Service. I am proud of my contribution to that fine supplement - a mission and several mandates, service services, and service firm types.

Now, I'm working with the Traitors to develop a new roleplaying game in which players take the roles of androids and their human controllers. It's kind of a cross between Nomic, PARANOIA, Shadowrun, and Wraith. We're hoping to have it ready for release in late spring or early summer of this year. When it is released, I will definitely announce it here and anywhere else where my posts won't be deleted as spam.

It is even possible that I will write an extended example of play here in the form of a series of game logs. It depends on how much free time I have. Between updates at the Lesson of the Fuel site and planning for my wedding, I don't know how busy life will become. Look for more updates in a few months. For now, enjoy the game logs of Poet RPG.
